WHISKEY RIVER PREMIUM HERITAGE 19HC - 19" HANDLE

What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles?

Previously called our "19" Thin", it has now earned it's seat in the Heritage Series lineup!

A simple classic 19" hatchet handle!   Expertly hand shaped to create a slim and ergonomic hatchet handle.  These 19's are thin. Just what you folks have been asking for!

Hickory will be a constant with this handle but White Oak is going to be offered with very limited numbers.

So if you think you'd want this handle in White Oak be sure to get in on this run. As I said above - we'd love to keep offering them in White Oak but depending on supply I can't guarantee that we will or will not keep carrying the White Oak version.

Each handle is hand picked by our axe swinging team to ensure its quality!

If you really want to add some character to your new hang pick up a walnut wedge!

You can also grab an extra poplar wedge if you want too!

Every axe comes with the proper wedge!

The dimension of the eye is: 1 7/8" x 3/4"

Great handle

I bought this handle to hang a Norland Hudson Bay axe. And it turned into axe perfection.

The best handles I've found online

These are the best handles. They are nice and thin, with excellent grain orientation. The wedges they come with are equally good. I can also attest to the customer service being great also, I had to change my shipping address after I ordered and it was handled(lol) beautifully

Made me change my plans

I have a vintage 2# Plumb boys axe that I was going to put on a 24PACK handle. However, when I pulled the grade B ash 19HC from the box, my plans changed. The handle looked beautiful and felt great in the hand. It also fit the axe head with minimal work. Finished with linseed oil, I love the way the grain pops. This is now the first axe I grab for kindling, small chores, and yard work. It is probably also the axe I would take backpacking as it has a great combination of capability, size, & weight.

My camp carver

The heritage 19c is an excellent choice for a little longer handle for the council tool camp carver. Along with the variety of wedges and the walrus oil brand linseed oil. Mine came out stunning and tight fit. Feels perfect in the hand. It finished out at 17 3/4 and is perfect for it's purpose.
