What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles?
These handle are designed to fit the eye of the Council Tool Pack Axe which has a unique eye size for that weight of head. It will also fit most boys axe heads. It is thin, ergonomic, and made from 24" of dried American hickory! Each of these handles are hand picked by our team to ensure they are of the highest quality!
If you really want to add some character to your new hang pick up a walnut wedge!
You can also grab an extra poplar wedge if you want too!
Each handle comes with the proper wedge!
The dimension of the eye is: 2 1/8" x 3/4"

One is fine, I hung a nice Snow & Nealley on it, but the second one cracked when I hitting it on the end with a plastic mallet.
Finished my first axe, my Grandpa’s old Collins. Torched and Tongue oil finished, cold gun blued head with nice coat of Boeshield-T9, walnut Wedge. Chops nicely! Everything lined up nicely without any fuss, great Solid Hickory Handle! On to the next one, Great-Great grandfathers 3# double-bit.
Great match for a broken boys axe
You guys do a great job handle was perfect as usual
Super high quality, dense wood with extremely tight grain. The eye is bigger than that of a boys axe but smaller than a full size, making for a perfect fit in the boys axe with a little bit of shaping.
