After a long absence from Whiskey River - the Adirondack Handle is back!
The Adirondack Double Bit handle has a special place in the history of the timber industry and because of that - the history of America itself.
Not just because it looks a bit funny compared to a modern double-bit handle but because it works so incredibly well at the task it was created for.
We are calling this handle the 31AD because it measures out around 31 inches when you're done hanging it.
In the name of our Heritage line of handles redesigned this handle to be more historically correct and useable (you can see the model it's based on in the pictures.)
This project has been a long time in the making and I'm very excited to be getting these in your hand.

Whiskey River Premium Heritage 31AD - 31" Adirondack Handle
As with all Whiskey River handles they are amazing and look and perform perfect would recommend.
First time using a manufactured Adirondack handle and I was more than pleased with it! Everything about it was just nice! Prominent swell, with plenty of trim options, and the kurf area plenty big enough for the Vintag KeenKutter I fitted it to. I will definitely be buying more of them in the future. I got the A grade hickory 31AD.
First time ordering a B grade handle and it had exceeded all expectations, simply amazing. Don’t feel too sad if you missed the A’s and all that’s left is B grade, beautiful handle at a decent price all things considered.
