What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles?

A classic working man's double bit handle. This thing is timeless and no-nonsense. It's 36 inches of air dried American Hickory. It's straight and very comfortable in hand.  Each handle is hand picked by our axe swinging team to ensure its quality!

The dimension of the eye is: 3" x 3/4"

If you really want to add some character to your new hang pick up a walnut wedge!

You can also grab an extra poplar wedge if you want too!

Every axe handle comes with the proper wedge!

OG PLUMB 3.5 re-hang ona recycled WR 36" B-grade....

Snapped the stick on this head a long time ago...and parked it.
The "new" stick is recycled from another project- it's about 34" now.
The head: someone 'equalized' the eyes with a file, damnit. It's been installed upside-down a couple times lol. I finally gave up and just hung it flat-top. lol. Hope it stays tight- usually does with poplar wedges. I yeller glue my wedges and "gently" seat them til they break with a wide kerf, and top wood reveal of a half inch or less so I don't split nuttin....glue seals the top, lil back sand, round stuff off, black spray paint to seal it up. Weather tight baby. And the Color?
Slather the stick in barn red, wait, wipe off with paint thinner, 1 coat done n done. Lil flat black for contrast, scrape a quick edge....stuck it end on in some red oak, that round rang- DONG. It's a worker bee- won't pretty for long. But it is now. Oh yeh....(red n black is my thang so....)

Watcha think?

I know ya like the old Iron.
Got a couple/3 more antique PLUMB projects in the works with WR sticks going in them. Good combo- PLUMB 'n WR.

You stayed tuned [young man]/and Team!

Bring da Whiskey- or just go away...lol!

36 inch double bit handles

Grade A is an understatement. These are some of the finest handles I have seen. These will be perfect for a bunch of Pulaskis that will see a lot of hard use.

This is going to be good.

Absolutely beautiful. Oversized to fit a variety of eyes. I’m fitting this one to a 1925 Sager. When it’s done, it might be so pretty I may not have the courage to swing it.
