Beefy Traditional Maine Pattern //  Your Choice Of Custom Made Leather // Your Choice Of The 28LUM or 28NEC - WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR??

This axe is Brant & Cochran's ode to the resilient and resourceful Acadian Lumbermen that helped tame the forests of Maine and Eastern Canada.

This half-wedge pattern is bit more hefty than it's counterpart the Allagash Cruiser with most of that heft being added to the poll of the axe.

With that little extra weight you can have more confidence when attempting some of the more demanding tasks like splitting or felling.

We asked Brant & Cochran to hang this premium head on both the 28LUM and the 28NEC for us to give it that little bit of Whiskey River charm.

To make it even more awesome we had our friends at Badger Claw Leather and Wyoming Axe & Saw create some custom leather for these beauties.

The darker leather masks are from Badger Claw and the red-tan masks with the wrap behind strap are from Wyoming Axe & Saw.

And like every axe that comes out of the Brant & Cochran their skill, artistry, and pride in their work is evident no matter which part of this axe you're looking at!

You can really tell that everyone that touched this thing from design to manufacturing is incredibly passionate about axes and takes great pride in their work.

We love the folks over at B&C because like us, they are passionate about keeping these traditions alive and well.

At the top of that list of traditions they're keeping alive is "don't half ass something" and we love them for that!

Put it to good use, or put it on the wall.

I got both versions of the colabs, they are little works of art and I'm very happy to have them. I will caution the average axe user however, if you don't know how to properly use an axe you will break the handles. These are SUPURBLY slimmed and thinned. I've never had handles this elegant. Elegance and ease of use come with the trade off of being for a more experienced user. Beat on your restored axes, use these professionally. Thanks Brandon!
