What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles?
This is a wonderfully slim and ergonomic 28" dried hickory boys axe handle. In my opinion the 28" boys axe is one of my favorite length and weight for an axe set up.

The curly maple 28cba that I won at auction is twisted at the bottom and has reduced diameter near the top. It doesn’t have the same diameter as the 28CBA Hickory b grade handles that I purchased.
I have purchased more than 100 handles from you and have been very pleased.
The Curly Maple 28CBA doesn’t meet your usual standards and I am very disappointed.

Good quality handle!
Very pretty B grade handle. Mine turned out to be half heartwood, half sapwood. I'm a bit worried she'll crack more easily, but if she does, I'll just rehang my chosen head! I'm in this for the process/experience of hanging and swinging axes, not only the end result.
