Whiskey River Premium Heritage 24PACK Handle - 24" Handle

What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles?

It’s Back!!! And better than ever!   The latest addition to our Heritage Handle lineup. The 24PACK is redesigned to be the ultimate short length boys axe handle.

It will also fit most boys axe heads. It is thin, ergonomic, and made from 24” of dried American hickory! Each of these handles are hand picked by our team to ensure they are of the highest quality!

If you really want to add some character to your new hang pick up a walnut wedge!

You can also grab an extra poplar wedge if you want too!

The lower half of this handle is shaped so it can accurately be swung in either direction.  A slight point on the back side of the handle near the palm swell helps “steer” the axe when using it as a hammer around camp.

Each handle comes with the proper wedge!

The dimension of the eye is: 2 1/4" x 3/4"

Overall Length: 25”

Low QC, top notch customer service.

Hey Brandon. I this isn't the first handle I've ordered from you guys. But every handle i have ordered up to now has needed a replacement. Now, you have been kick asd about identifying issues with proper communication and replacing them. Most of the replacements have been awesome. But both the 24" pack axe handle originally ordered and the replacement both were slightly warped. For A grade handles, this is disheartening. Either the kerf is un even, its warped, or the hilt is uneven. Those have all been my experience with every initial handle I got from you guys and both 24" handles specifically. I have hung so many heads I've lost track. I know how they are suppose to hang and seat, I know how the handles suppose to look. As so do you because of your amazing knowledge and experience. Im just wondering what qc proccess can be added to improve the consistency or if a hand finishing step may be prudent for these A grade handles and charge maybe $10 more for these. Or have a A+ grade handle with the A and B grades. Food for thought. Im still going to continue being a customer because your customer service is un-matched.

Great handle!

I hung a vintage 3 lb Keen Kutter on this as a gift for a buddy. I like this so much, I think I'll have to make another one to give him. Dang. I have issues.

The right handle for a pack axe

I really like the profile of this handle. Prior to hanging this on a 2-1/4# boy's head, I'd only ever had 28" handles and wasn't too sold on boy's axes. Now, I'm a firm believer in 24" for a boy's head and will be looking for another vintage head to hang on another 24PACK.

The thing I like the most about this profile is the palm swell. It fits my hand perfectly, provides a lot of control over the axe, and of course, looks dead ****.
