What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles?
This 14" piece of air dried American hickory is the perfect replacement handle for any medium to light use hatchet head. Slim enough to be comfortable in hand but thick enough to hold its own! There's a nice curvature to the handle that lends itself to the users comfort!
If you really want to add some character to your new hang pick up a walnut wedge!
You can also grab an extra poplar wedge if you want too!
The dimensions of the eye are: 1 1/2" x 1/2"

I've bought several of these over the past couple years, and they BEG to be picked up. The thickness is absolutely perfect - thick enough that you aren't afraid of breaking a handle but thin enough to make you want to hold it all day.
