What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles?
There's almost no more iconic of an axe than a good trusty double bit! This handle is as pure of a double bit handle as they come. 30 inches of air dried American Hickory shaved down to a comfortable and ergonomic workhorse. These axes have been hand picked by our talented axe swinging staff to ensure they can carry our "Whiskey River Premium Select" label. The dimension of the eye is: 3/4" x 2 3/4".
If you really want to add some character to your new hang pick up a walnut wedge!
You can also grab an extra poplar wedge if you want too!

Hi,
I have a vintage True Temper Kelly Perfect double bit axe head. The eye measures 3" x 1" at both the top and the bottom.
I was looking at your Double Bit Axe Handle - 30" (Whiskey River Premium Select), which lists an eye dimension of 3/4" x 2 3/4". Since my eye is larger than that, I don’t think it would fit.
Do you have a double bit handle that would fit an eye of 3" x 1"? An oversize handle or a handle blank that I could shape myself would also work.
