What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles?
This handle works well for a replacement of your broken Axe eyed splitting maul handle. With the 3 3/4" eye section you could also hang shorter eyed axes on it.

Each of these handles are hand picked by our team to ensure they are of the highest quality! They are made from 35" of air dried American Hickory!
The dimension of the eye is: ~ 2 1/2" x 3/4"
If you really want to add some character to your new hang pick up a walnut wedge!
You can also grab an extra poplar wedge if you want too!
Note: Shoulder is 2 1/2" x 1".
Every axe handle comes with the proper wedge!

This is probably the nicest maul handle I’ve ever seen. I continually see WR deliver products that just exceed expectations. These handles will give you an amazing finished product, mine had a perfectly cut kerf, and was very well made from a fabulous piece of clear lumber. The profile is all around perfect for my taste. Bought one of these to rehang an old bush hook - not a standard bank blade with the strap, but a double-bladed, proper bush hook. It took some care to fit, but very little eye-shaping. The grain was straight, with no defects, and the thickness was perfect for this application. I doubt the recipient will use it for brush clearing, as I mounted it to a display board, but I wouldn't hesitate to use it.
