The 28CRU is the perfect cruiser handle. It is light and whippy. The grain is top notch. It took very little work to hang my Plumb 2.5lb. double bit cruiser head.
I have ordered several handles from Whiskey River Art and Trading and have never been disappointed. However, I believe the 28CRU is my favorite. I ordered the birch handle and want to get another in the hickory for my other Plumb cruiser.
In all fairness I bounced back and forth between a lot of different makers but these cruiser handles are fantastic. They're very thin, perfectly balanced, perfectly symmetrical, the grain is excellent and the fitment was extremely easy. I really like these and as soon as I get another cruiser to hang I want to try their new Adirondack cruiser handle.

Thank you for making these! Couldn't find one this size until now. Fit amazing love the lightweight feel. I was able to restore an old Plumb back to its old glory.
