Free of lacquer and wax and the ends of them are sealed with log seal helping each board be less susceptible to humidity changes during shipping and storage.
This hickory is top tier and kiln dried. Grain orientation and run out was selected to the best of our ability at the time of cutting to length.
There are no guarantees against internal defects such and knots, wormholes and color changes.

Quality blank, grain orientation was spot on! If you worry about that!? But the customer does. My one and only I guess one and only complaint is I wish they were 3 1/2 instead of 3. 3 really limits the handle variety! That being said very straight and love how you smoothed out a couple of the sides and also very square! That really helps with layout and rough cutting! Overall very nice!
I received my 3 handle blanks, they look pretty good. I'll let them acclimate a week or 3, I want to see if the wood moves before I start on 'em.
