I got my 18"& 20" Whiskey River Premium Select Cruiser Double Bit Axe Handles, and some wedges and walrus oil to hang them with and weather proof my goods and everything was nicely packed up snug in the box all in its individual bubble packaged place and that was cool, Then I got to work hanging my new handles and you guys are doing some very good craftmanship and work at Whiskey River cause the only issue I had was the replacement handle for the norlund cruiser was a bit big at the end and I just had to shave a little off the edges but I'd rather it be a bit big than to small anyday, and in a few min I was going at it with those sweet black walnut wedges which look great by the way when all complete the contrasting color in the wood just makes it pop! So pat yourselves on the back Whiskey River for doing Great work all around and keeping Craftsmanship Alive in America as much as so many want it to go by the wayside and would rather have another country do it for them, but don't get complacent and keep Inovating and coming up with cool Ideas that never forget where we come from. I am using it as an experimental head, practicing the fine art of restoration, remodeling, revamping, re everything.
HOWEVER…with the addition of the FINE Whiskey River handle I purchased from you guys, I will turn it into something that can truly be loved. The feel of this handle is perfect.
I have to slightly modify the size as the eye of this old head is 2 1/4 x 5/8 bottom 1/16 over each demension on top.
It is currently a work in progress and may be a couple weeks coming round.

I have bought a couple handles from whiskey river over the past couple months and have not been disappointed in any of them. All the handles I have received so far have fit up nicely, without having to remove a bunch of material. I fit this handle up to a double but I got from a whiskey river auction, and I love it! I am certainly going to continue to buy from Brandon and this awesome company he has.
