What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles?
In my opinion this is one of my favorite lengths for my lighter double bit axes. It's big enough to give a good swing but small enough to be agile and pack-able! This handle fits most full sized double bit axe heads but measure the eye just to be sure! Each handle is hand picked by our axe swinging team to ensure its quality!
If you really want to add some character to your new hang pick up a walnut wedge!
You can also grab an extra poplar wedge if you want too!
Every axe comes with the proper wedge!
The dimension of the eye is: 3" x 5/8"

just what i needed
Such a great handle. Feels awesome in hand. Bought two so far that I have yet to decide what is worthy to hang on them. Definitely will be buying more as I stumble across more heads.
I am very pleased with this axe handle and the grain of the wood is right on!
Very high quality piece of wood, perfect grain orientation on the highest grade selection. Unfortunately there is a noticeable bend in the handle that I didn't notice until I took my first swing. While still being usable, this piece might just hang on a wall until I decide to re-handle.
One other small design flaw, which I now notice in the pictures of all of their double bit handles. The pommel swell is way too small, good chance the axe could slide right out if your hands get fatigued or cold. Not great to happen when you are swinging a sharp axe, especially a double bit.
