What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles?

Hickory is our standard species that we offer.
Each handle is hand picked by our axe swinging team to ensure its quality!
If you really want to add some character to your new hang pick up a walnut wedge!
You can also grab an extra poplar wedge if you want too!
Every axe comes with the proper wedge!
The dimension of the eye is: 1 11/16" x 3/4"
Eye is tapered and gets larger at the shoulder: 1 15/16" x 7/8"
Overall Length: 12 3/4"
This handle will fit a flying fox and camp carver if you are looking to have on on a short handle!

If this is just a test run of this design I would say the test was passed and then some. An excellent addition to the Whiskey River collection. The curvature, palm swell and just-right thickness combined with their usual immaculate fit and finish makes for a perfectly ergonomic handle that is beautiful as well. I used mine to hang a Plumb Boy Scout hatchet and couldn’t be happier with the results. These guys take pride in their work and if you take pride in your tools then this is where you need to get your handles.
I expect the utmost quality from WR. That little handle exceeded my expectations , it made a ho hum hatchet look like a masterpiece. The feel of the handle in hand is amazing,
