The Whiskey River Yeti Bench Stone brings everything you loved about the Arctic Fox Sharpening Puck to your work bench. A lot of people love the sharpening pucks (for good reason) but for some people the idea of being able to have a little more surface area to work with in the comfort of their workshop is a little more appealing. In my opinion it's not a mortal sin to own both at one time either!
Once again this axe and knife sharpening bench stone is a two in one stone. The grey ANSI 240 grit face will rapidly erase scratch marks from a file, while the icy blue ANSI 400 grit side will bring the edge to a hazy mirror finish that easily shaves.
Dimensions of the stone: 6" x 2" x 1 5/8"
i have a brand new buck 110 with s30v blade steel. i purchased this stone with this knife in mind. well a few strokes on this stone and a few strokes on a strop and i have a very sharp knife. the stone cuts smoothly. residue washes off with just water. i`ve bought a lot of different types of stones, diamond, natural, and this is in my opinion the best performing stone i`ve ever bought. i have two leather strops, and a hoodoo hone. with the addition of this stone i feel i have a complete sharpening system. to say i like this stone is an understatement.
p.s. i also like your axe puck too.
