If you want to add a little extra character to your favorite axe or hatchet then this wedge will definitely get it done for you.  The premium American Walnut wedges provide the perfect amount of contrast to the eye of your axe when paired with one of our American Hickory handles. 
A few smacks with a mallet, some boiled linseed oil, and these wedges are ready to go. 
Wedge Dimensions:
Small - Approx. 2" wide, 7/16" thick at the top, 2 3/8" long*

Large - Approx. 3" wide, 7/16" thick at the top, 3 3/8" long*

Nice wedges!

Real good seems you have the blades sharp to make them I gave a few to a friend who had no idea showed him how to hang his head oh **** I mean axe head whew that was closenow he knows enough to mess up a few so I gave him 5 thanks

Nice accessory

The wedge not only adds to the aesthetic, but also is a major function of getting the head of the axe wedge into place. After fitting the wedge, and using boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits it just soaked it right up. Excellent fit and finish.
