Leaving a 5 star review, because axe handles and buying experience is outstanding. I did not personally have good luck with the Purple Heart wedges (the Walnut I got was great). I had issues with the Purple Heart breaking off while I was attempting to cut it down to the size of the axe head eye - may just be my inexperience working with that wood itself, as I’ve not had issues with any other type of wood.
