**Re Designed!!  Now comes with a larger swell!**

What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles?

This replacement axe handle has a unique design made to fit the eye of a boys axe while maintaining a short pack-able length. It will also fit most boys axe heads. It is thin, ergonomic, and made from 21" of dried American hickory! Each of these handles are hand picked by our team to ensure they are of the highest quality!

If you really want to add some character to your new hang pick up a walnut wedge!

You can also grab an extra poplar wedge if you want too!

Each handle comes with the proper wedge!

The dimension of the eye is: 2 1/4" x 3/4"

Proudly Made in the USA!

Sort of fat

I received the 21” handles and I was very happy with the grain orientation. The overall shape of the handle was very nice as well. My only disappointment was with the thickness. I compared them side by side with a boys axe handle from whiskey river and it was at least half again as thick. I will have a ton of sanding to thin this down and get it to similar proportions. I will
Still order from whiskey river again just not so sure about these handle.

Ax Handles

Not much to say - You will now find these at the local stores. I just wish they had more walnut wedges...

Lots of potential!!

I have hung a few of these handles on the flying fox head . It takes a little sizing down of the eye & I also thin out the sides of the handle a bit but the results are worth it!! It gives this little axe head a big personality!!

Nice but not a Grade-A Handle

It took a long time to receive the handle but I understand the shop was closed between Christmas and New Years so I finally received the handle in early January after ordering in late December. I understand that and I suppose that was my fault for not knowing the shutdown schedule. When I got the handle the grain looked great and the workmanship looked solid. However when I tried dry fitting the handle I noticed it was twisted. It was very noticeable when I completed the installation. I chose to put on a smaller head and not the nice one I planned on doing because of the flaw. I will give this to my grandson to use now. A twist of this amount should not be a Grade-A handle. I will try the company again and send them an email prior to ordering because I have a couple very nice heads I want to put on Grade-A handles. Probably just wood being wood.
